Incarcerated but clearly not silent, Adidja Azim Palmer aka Vybz Kartel continues to reign.

Following the release of his album “King of the Dancehall” which hit number one on both the Billboard and ITunes reggae charts, and his book “Voice of the Jamaican Ghetto” named a best-seller; the entertainer has broadened his entrepreneurial skills further cementing brand Vybz Kartel.

Official VK Line is the dancehall deejay’s latest venture. Lingerie, caps, t-shirts, shorts, footwear; VK is for the men and women ready to tell a tale with fashion. The brand which depicts Vybz Kartel’s edgy lyrics, seamless flow, and musical genius, serves as an inspiration for ghetto youths with a dream.

Official VK Line’s intellectual property rights are owned by the deejay’s common-law wife Tanesha “Shorty” Johnson and is being marketed and distributed by Whirlwind Entertainment.

An official launch is slated to take place this Tuesday, July 26, 2016, in the capital city where the media and industry players will get a premier experience of the Official VK Line. Vybz Kartel’s Official VK Line is available for purchase at officialvkline.com.

Despite being confined, Vybz Kartel continues to make a positive impact on society. Just recently, through his GEL program which stands for Gaza Education and Literacy, the dancehall deejay has donated a computer to the Greater Portmore High School.

GEL’s mission geared towards increasing computer literacy among the nation’s youths will see the company donate at least one computer to every high school in Portmore.
