The launch was held at the Redbones Café in New Kingston on November 10. The 14 track album, which was released on CD Baby on October 21, 2016, and is also streaming on iTunes and Spotify.

Members of the reggae community were out in numbers to support Reign’s first solo album and gave him words of encouragement in the process. October Reign took to the stage and delivered an invigourating performance of just some of his favourite tracks off the album. The crowd rose to its feet in awe of the solo artiste.

October Reign has been performing and perfecting his craft on the international reggae scene from the early 90s with acclaimed reggae acts such as Mystic Revealers, Luciano and Tarrus Riley.

“Some of my memorable performances are in Ostrada in Poland with Rootz Underground; Summerfest in Germany with Luciano and Madison Square Garden with Buju Banton and Beres Hammond,” Reign said.

A product of rural Jamaica, Reign hails from the parishes of St. Mary and Portland, and has a global perspective on life and music. He believes that reggar is ‘Not just boxed into a genre, I see it as music for everyone, I see reggae outside of the box,’
